VMI program improves forecasting & supply chain - Arasco's case study

Saudi Arabia-based Arasco Feed Business uses a vendor managed inventory (VMI) program to improve forecasting and supply chain efficiency. Forecast preparation became simpler and faster, and forecast accuracy improved. Only 63 out of 245 products continued production, making production more efficient.

Forecasting commodity price with futures contract prices
Article Abstract:
There are a number of methods for forecasting future prices of commodities. Experience has shown that the price of futures contract is much more accurate I price forecast than any other method currently being adopted.
