The demise of human resources (HR) is forecast through the use of a speculative look back at the HR sector from the year 2010. Reasons identified for the failure of HR include the disconnection between HR and the cutting edge decisions being made within companies, and the failure of HR to accurately measure the value that it offers to a company.
