When the thrill has gone
Article Abstract:
A lack of men willing to seek treatment and a high cost may be the causes of sluggish Australian sales of the impotence medication Viagra. Pfizer Inc., manufacturer of Viagra, spent $250,000 promoting the drug to doctors before its release. Australian Viagra sales are only about $1 million a month, even though 35% of Australians are aware of Viagra. Viagra costs between $75 and $100 for a packet of four pills. Pfizer has also taken on the role of "sex educator" with its publications and marketing.
