Foreign-trade zones will come of age in the '80s
Article Abstract:
Foreign-trade zones permit imported merchandise to be held without payment of custom duties. Dollar volume of goods in U.S. zones grew from $100 million in 1970 to $5 billion in 1980. Guidelines are needed to facilitate operations in foreign-trade zones.
