1960s 'squat' converted to desirable residence
Article Abstract:
The renovation of 124 to 124 Haverstock Hill victorian villa properties in London, England, is reviewed. The properties, which were dilapidated and used by squatters, have been refurbished and in two cases rebuilt to reflect their victorian origin. Some of the 63 homes are used by the original residents. The communal gardens, which contain a number of unusual specimens of plants and trees, are available to all residents. The architectural services were provided by Pollard Thomas and Edwards.
