A branch and bound based heuristic for multi-product resource constrained scheduling problem in FMS environment
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to develop a branch and bound based-heuristic for multi-product resource constrained scheduling problem under flexible manufacturing system conditions. A numerical example was used to determine the effectiveness of the branch and bound-based heuristic. Results indicated that increases in various flexibilities were directly proportional with increases in the number of decision variables.
