Initial public offerings from China are forecast to be hot for 2006. The Hong Kong stock exchange sold greater than $22 billion United States Dollars this year and is expected to sell between $25 billion to $30 billion next year. Chinese economic growth was understated by 2.3 trillion Yuan ($284.8 billion) or seven percent this year.

Stocks get the inflation shakes

Inflation has reared its ugly head pushing the United States stock market down. The rate of inflation is 2.3 percent, spurring fears that interest rates will continue to increase. Stock Indexes were down, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 214.28 points or 1.9 percent to 11205.61.
