Robust and neutral methods for aggregating preferences into an outranking relation
Article Abstract:
Research was conducted to examine the concepts of robustness and neutrality of a decision-aid method. The objective was to illustrate the two basic characteristics on a preference aggregation problem. Proposed methods were compared in terms of robustness and neutrality. Results demonstrate that a precise formalization of the problem and of some basic properties of the methods allow scientists to sort them and give justification for choosing one method over the other.
