A walk on the wild side
Article Abstract:
Uphill trail-walking in Engelberg, Switzerland, is a highly recommended family activity and a great alternative to TV and computer games. The well maintained trails are differentiated according to difficulty such that the safest and easiest to follow requires no orienteering skills while the more difficult and dangerous trails require the ability to read topographical maps. The Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) offers huts throughout the Swiss mountains which provide board and lodging services at reasonable prices.
