The prints of darkness
Article Abstract:
Film director, Stanley Kubrick, was a perfectionist yet he never seemed to begin a new project with much idea how it was going to develop. Kubrick demanded many retakes of scenes and spent a long time deciding how scenes were to be cut. His first major success was 'Paths of Glory' and he followed this up with films such as 'Spartacus', 'Lolita' and 'Dr Strangelove'. He is currently directing 'Eyes Wide Shut' with Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise. Kubrick now lives in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom.
