AUSTRIA: KYOCERA SEEKS HIGHER MARKET SHARE

In the financial year to 31 March 2000 Kyocera expects to sell more than 6,000 printers in Austria and generate a turnover of more than Sch 60mn, up 50%. The company that entered the Austrian market eight months ago aims to raise the market share in laser printers to 10%. Rather than using the price of the printer as a sales argument, the company emphasises low operating costs.
