AUSTRIA: NEW PLANT FOR FACC TO MANAGE BOEING JOB
Article Abstract:
Austrian Ried/Innkreis-based Fischer Advanced Composite Components (FACC) has started construction of a second production plant in order to fulfil a Sch 500mn contract from Boeing of the US. About 180 new staff will be hired for the new Sch 140mn facility in Reichersberg. FACC has developed and will produce at the new plant interior parts such as hand luggage compartments, interior linings, oxygen supplies and lighting for Boeing's 717 aircraft. FACC has been recording annual growth rates of 25% and currently has a turnover of Sch 636mn.
