Adviser selected for Polish telecoms
Article Abstract:
The Credit Suisse First Boston/Deutsche Morgan Grenfell consortium appeal against the Polish government's decision to use a Schroders/PBK Bank-led consortium for advice on the privatisation of telecoms company Telekomunikacja Polska, has been quashed. The appeal was made on the grounds that the Credit Suisse consortium offered more experience at a more competitive price. A 30% share of the telecoms company is expected to hit the market during the second half of 1998.
