Article Abstract:
Germany's Frankfurt-Main International Airport is ready to install the upgraded Arrival Co-ordination System from Airsys ATM called ARRCOS II. The system has been designed to automate both dialogue and data exchnage, thereby making flight plan data entirely electronic. In addition, it has the capacity to provide an overview of all traffic events, which is maintained on-screen in windows as lists that are automatically time- stamped. Furthermore, it can display flight data 30 minutes in advance of estimated time of arrival.
