Altria seeks Indonesian smokers

Philip Morris International Inc., a division of tobacco firm Altria Group Inc., will introduce a clove-flavored cigarette under its Marlboro brand name. While the Marlboro brand owns 50% of Indonesia's traditional cigarette market share, it is not as well known as the region's popular clove cigarette, or kretek, brands.

Altria net jumps 34% on gains from tax settlement, tobacco unit

Altria Group Inc. of the United States posted a soaring 34 percent increase in first quarter net income to $3.48 billion up from $2.6 billion. Revenue increases were aided by a tax settlement. Altria Group Inc. is a tobacco company with interests in Kraft Foods Inc.
