Screening the human factor
Article Abstract:
Some aviation regulators and airport operators are launching programs to better understand and enhance the performance of human operators of airport security equipment. While technological leaps have been made over the past few years concerning airport security equipment, the human factor until now has not been given equal or even proportionate attention. Proponents of this trend believe that hiring the right people, giving them the right training and putting them in the right working environment will vastly improve airport security.
