An application of Lemke's method to a class of Markov decision problems
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to analyze an application of Lemke's technique to a category of Markov decision problems appearing in optimal stopping problems and other types of optimization concerns. A special case of the Markov decision problems with finitely many states was considered. Results indicated that the problem can be reduced to a linear complementarity problem which can be solved by Lemke's method with a number of iterations less than the number of states.

A cost allocation problem arising in hub-spoke network systems
Article Abstract:
Hub-spoke network systems are luring researchers in telecommunication, air transportation and parcel delivery networks. A cost allocation issue from hub-spoke network systems is examined. Experimental results illustrating telecommunication traffic data are presented.
