Australia burns illegal vessels

Senator Ian Macdonald, Australia's fisheries minister, is seeking the help of scientists across the world to control illegal fishing. Australia spends almost A$100 million annually to control such activity. 107 fishing vessels were found to be fishing illegally on Australian waters this year, which the Australian authorities have opted to burn down.
