BAA turns down Ferrovial's offer of $15.38 billion

BAA PLC of the United Kingdom has rejected a takeover offer of 8.75 billion Pounds ($15.38 billion) from Grupo Ferrovial S.A. of Spain. The British airports operator said the offer was not a true reflection of valuation. BAA PLC operates a number of British airports including Heathrow.
