CENTRAL BANK TO BUY MAJOR PART OF MSE BUILDING
Article Abstract:
Central Bank of India (CBI) in Chennai has proposed to buy a major portion of Mysore Stock Exchange's (MSE) building in which the bank is operating. MSE's building is located on Second Line Beach in Chennai. MSE's initial plans to sell the building was part of its strategy to overcome cash crunch. CBI has sought more time to finalise the deal as it has to get approval from the Reserve Bank of India. (gs)

FOURTH R's FIRST INDIAN CENTRE TO BE IN CHENNAI

Fourth R of the US has decided to set up its first Indian learning centre at Chennai through its Indian master licencee, Interactive Learning Solutions Pvt Ltd. Fourth R teaches computer applications through child-friendly learning methods to children in the 3-17 age group. It plans to set up 50 franchisee centres across India within the next 18 months and has projected a turnover of Rs20 crore in two years. (khr)
