A measure of a customerEs future spending evolution that might improve relationship-marketing decision-making is focused. In the study from a marketing point of view, predicting whether a newly acquired customer will increase or decrease his/her future spending from initial purchased information is analyzed.

A method of forecasting the online purchasing behavior of consumers is presented. The method highlights the advantages of customers' lists to e-commerce retailer. The customer relationship management in e-commerce is also discussed.
