Economists Eugene Fama and Kenneth French challenged the capital asset pricing model, showing that its beta measure, relative volatility of a share, does not explain return. The ratio of book value to market value forecasts return better, but it lacks a theoretical explanation.

Few visitors are going to the exhibition which displays deep and often depress ing portraits of Native Americans, including Geronimo and Wooden Leg. Many of the same portraits were in a 1912 exhibition at the library.
