Bodson resigns from Tractebel; Hansen is CEO
Article Abstract:
Belgian utility Tractebel SA ended weeks of speculation when the company announced Chief Executive Officer Philippe Bodson had resigned. Tractebel gave no explanation for his resignation, but the announcement followed persistent market talk in Brussels financial circles that he would step down due to irreconcilable differences with Tractebel's majority owner, Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux. Mr Bodson will be succeeded by Electrabel SA's CEO, Jean-Pierre Hansen later this month.
