Article Abstract:

Global drinks corporation Diageo, the multinational firm that owns the Guinness brand is accused of trivialising the role played by Giles Gilbert Scott in the industrial bulidings as it prepares for the sale of the site for redevelopment in July 2005. The company Diageo has refused to accept that Scott is responsible for one of London's most significant industrial buildings to justify its demolition.
