Music Semiconductor hits right note for the daring

Manila-based Music Semiconductors is a designer, developer and marketer of semiconductor chips used in computer networks. Music made an initial public offering of 123.6 million shares at $0.24 each or 12.5 times forecast 1996 earnings and 8.7 times forecast 1997 earnings. Music reports that it has a 40% share of the global $41-million content-addressable memory semiconductor market. Music's listing at the Philippine stock market is scheduled for Sep. 26, 1996.
