Brown can also be green
Article Abstract:
Survey evidence shows that previously developed urban wastelands in the U.K. can be particularly rich in wildlife and biodiversity than the official countryside, which has been much damaged by modern farming methods and poor environment management. The Brownfield site should be developed into a network of protected urban nature reserves, open spaces and green corridors rather than for housebuilding.
