Warrior's fate: polls fiasco damages opposition leader's image
Article Abstract:
The political future of Singapore's leading oppositionist J.B. Jeyaretnam appears bleak as a result of his party's failure to field a slate in the Dec 1992 by-elections. Political observers speculate that the opposition stalwart would have quit politics by then.
