Canada: the alternative
Article Abstract:
A recent study done by KPMG Canada ranks Canada as the best place to do business among seven countries it chose to study. The other countries are France, Germany, Italy, Sweden, UK and the US. KPMG Canada's survey compared important location-sensitive cost factors for eight manufacturing industries. Among these are pharmaceuticals, food processing, medical devices and plastics. The report found out that land and construction costs as well as interest rates are the lowest in Canada among the eight countries examined. Canada's labor, telecommunications and power costs are also comparable with the other countries.

The pain and pleasures of longhaul: Travel may broaden the mind, but its effects on the body can be less endearing
Article Abstract:
To cope with the demands of modern travelling it is important to prepare beforehand, with regard to immunizations in particular. Medical conditions such as diabetes may require careful planning ahead. It is difficult to avoid jet lag, but its worst effects can be minimized by adjusting watches and clocks to the time of your destination and 'thinking' in that time zone. It is important to know that anti-malarial tablets and immunizations do not give complete protection.
