Old enough to know better
Article Abstract:
There are certain things that 50-year-old art directors can do so that they would not be laid off simply because of age. They should keep their books current even if its only speculations. They should also be aware of popular culture including fads. Middle-aged art directors should avoid earrings and body piercings because these would draw attention to their age. They should also be willing to accept pay cuts when it becomes necessarry. Lastly, they should not stop learning something new.
