Optimal input substitution of a firm facing an environmental constraint
Article Abstract:
A model for establishing the optimal dynamic firm behavior was developed based on a two-step solution. Analysis of the model depicting the optimal input substitution of a firm facing an environmental constraint indicated the inverse relationship between capital stock and investment rate. Furthermore, the model for the optimal input substitution of a firm facing an environmental constraint exhibited the role of marginal investment expenditures in balancing future cash flow stream.
