British Gas owns the pipelines that store the gas it sells to other gas transmission companies. This has created questions and resentment from competitors. The MMC would be correct in separating the storage and transport functions of the industry.

Earle Williams of MIT, has discovered a way to measure the extent of global warming by studying the Schumann resonance, the electromagnetic effect caused by thunderstorms. By measuring the effect he can determine average global temperatures.
