Cheap drugs won't solve Asia's AIDS crisis
Article Abstract:
The reduction of AIDS treatment drugs by pharmaceutical companies has given off the impression that a quick fix is available, when the most important factor to stopping the disease is still prevention. In many Asian countries, including Indonesia and Malaysia, government and influential leaders believe that only foreigners can transmit the AIDS virus, obviously creating the need for prevention and education programs.

UPS flights from U.S. to China beat forecasts: firm to expand operations

United Parcel Service Inc. (UPS) began flying into Beijing and Shanghai on April 1, with the flights running approximately four to five times as strong as the opposite direction. UPS is planning to increase the number of its regional offices in China from three to five, as well as having offices in 40 other cities by the end of the year.
