Chevron reimages Town Pantry brand
Article Abstract:
Chevron Canada has launched a co-branding agreement with the Bread Garden Restaurant Inc cafe chain for the former's Town Pantry convenience stores. Dave Barnett, Chevron's merchandising coordinators, said the venture is attracting consumers that would not normally visit their stores. These include women and professionals while its typical patrons are males between 19 and 35 years old. Chevron has also rolled out an aggressive outdoor campaign designed to emphasize Town Pantry's fresh and uncluttered image.

Ads take B.C. forest industry to task
Article Abstract:
British Columbia's forest industry has been criticized by US and Canadian environmental groups through newspaper advertisements. The US ad, which ran in the 'New York Times,' identified companies that still use products made from old-growth rainforests. The Canadian ads, which ran in the Vancouver 'Sun' and 'Province' newspapers, attacked the provincial government and business leaders.
