Coke shelves initiative of ex-chief

E. Neville Isdell, chief executive officer of Coca-Cola Co., has dropped the proposal made by his predecessor, Douglas Daft, to change the soft drink company's profit sharing agreement with its biggest bottler, Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc. The two companies are currently re-negotiating their contract. Meanwhile, Isdell aims to turn the company's attention to reversing a negative trend in its sales.
