Combining multicriteria decision aid and system dynamics for the control of socio-economic processes. An iterative real-time procedure

Article Abstract:

A methodology was formulated to control complex and hypercomplex socio-economic structures. The methodology, which is considered as an interactive approach, integrates the principles of system dynamics, control theory and the PROMETHEE Multicriteria Decision Aid (MCDA) tool. Its three major stages includes establishment and calibration of a quantitative model and identification of long-term strategies and short-term-control.

Article Abstract:

The complementarity in the transshipment problem is studied where the distinction involving the impact of a change in the unit shipping cost for one route on the amount of product shipped via another route is focused. It is shown that each route must have at least one and in some cases two substitutes.
