Community and inter-agency structures in the regeneration of inner-city Belfast
Article Abstract:
Regeneration in Belfast has been criticised for being city-centre oriented and policy is increasingly moving towards the disadvantaged north and west wards. Initiatives include the Belfast Action Teams (BATs) relating to improving employability through training and Making Belfast Work (MBW). The Springvale Initiative identifies development opportunities taking into account community requirements.
