Article Abstract:
The United Kingdom Labor government has been involved in a number of political scandals that are similar to those that affected the previous Conservative administrations. The Labor government argues that there is a lack of outright corruption in the scandals that it has been involved in. There were also a large number of scandals involving Conservative party politicians, with twelve ministers having to resign as a result of wrongdoing. Two cabinet ministers resigned during five years of the John Major administrations, while two have resigned after eighteen months of Labor.
