Credit Suisse shifts strategy in profit pursuit

Credit Suisse Group has announced an overhaul of its objectives. The changes will particularly affect the bank's U.S.-based Credit Suisse First Boston unit. As part of the company's new vision, the banks will be shifting their focus in terms of what kinds of clients they pursue. In addition, Credit Suisse First Boston plans to further develop its proprietary trading business.
