DENMARK: EXPORTS TO SWEDEN LIKELY TO DECLINE
Article Abstract:
Danish exports to Sweden are likely to be reduced by about DKr 3bn (USD 340mn) both in 2001 and 2002, according to a forecast by Handelsbanken. The main reason behind this is the weakening of the Swedish Krona. In 2000, Danish exports to Sweden grew by 34% to DKr 52.3bn. Sweden is the second biggest export market, exceeded only by Germany.
