DENMARK: IT-SUPPORT ACQUIRED BY WM-DATA

The Danish company IT-Support has been acquired by the Swedish company WM-Data. IT-Support is considered an attractive partner for WM-Data as outsourcing of IT activities is increasing, as well as the number of telecommuters who need support. MD Ronny Roos, WM-Data, says the company is planning to make further acquisitions and extend activities in Denmark. IT-Support has until now been a company in the SDC Group, the Danish savings banks computer centre.

Maersk Data will acquire itAssign, the IT company that originates from Guide Orestad, where Swedish Framfab used to be the main shareholder. itAssign consists of 50 technical IT specialists and project leaders and will complement Maersk Data's acquisition last spring of Framfab's office in Lund. Maersk Data, which is a subsidiary of A.P.Moller, aims to expand in the whole of Sweden.

DENMARK: TIETOENATOR ACQUIRES DANISH SOFTWARE COMPANY
Article Abstract:
TietoEnator, the Finnish IT company, has signed a deal with IT+, the Danish software company, to acquire a 75% stake in IT+. This deal will secure TietoEnator access to the Danish finance sector. IT+ operates chiefly in the finance and telecoms sectors.
