Article Abstract:
The Danish group Danisco is to sell off its divisions Danisco Pack Denmark (including activities in Denmark, Norway and Germany) and Danisco Paper to the Swedish forest group SCA for DKr 1,500mn (USD 215mn). The capital gain is DKr 225mn. The acquisition has to be approved by German authorities, which is likely to be done in three-five weeks. Danisco Pack UK is not included, as this unit is developing positively, and Danisco expects a higher capital gain if it is sold off at a later stage.
