DENMARK: WAVEPLANE WINS CONTRACT IN JAPAN

WavePlane of Denmark has been awarded a contract in Japan for the testing, production and sale of a number of WavePlane's invention, Ilt-BolgeHovlen. The invention uses the natural wave power to pump fresh surface water into the bottom of seas and rivers so as to enable the restart of natural life. This contract could pave the way for an international breakthrough for the company. WavePlane's invention can also be used to generate energy from waves.

DENMARK:AALBORG ENERGIE TECHNIK WINS GERMAN DEAL

Danish Aalborg Energie Technik (AET) has been awarded a contract for the supply of a biomass power station by the German chipboard producer Kronoply GmbH in Heiligengrabe. The power station can convert 17 tonnes of timber per hour into green energy. The contract is valued at DKr180mn (US$21.9mn). According to managing director Hans E. Askou, the company has another two contracts on the way.
