Article Abstract:
Modern electronic chart display and information systems (ECDIS) are revolutionizing naval manning practices and situational awareness and further smoothening the transfer of data between land, sea and air needed for joint operations. More importantly, these systems are paving the way towards an integrated bridge systems. Some ECDIS have even surpassed performance standards set by the International Maritime Organization.

Ukraine focuses on ballistic missile defense and over-the-horizon radar market
Article Abstract:
The Ukrainian Radio Technical Institute is offering an array of over-the- horizon (OTH) radars operating in the high frequency band for land- or ship-based applications. The OTH radars, which are designed for detecting stealth aircraft and ballistic missiles are being marketed by Ukrspetsexport. These include relocatable skywave and shipborne and removable land-based OTH surface-wave radars.
