Directors make a difference
Article Abstract:
A company's investment in information systems can only be really successful if directors are fully involved, according to research by Transition Partnerships. Directors and top executives sometimes fail to connect an information technology project closely enough with the requirements of the business, and do not exploit the opportunities offered by information technology to the full. It is important that directors maintain an overview of any information technology project, rather than becoming too closely involved in details.
