Don't give in to high yields
Article Abstract:
Currency experts do not recommend the placement of investments into some currencies in Asia due to the risk of greater currency devaluation, with the exception of the relatively-safe Hong Kong dollar. While the yields from some Asian currencies are apparently attractive given sky-high domestic interest rates and near-bottom currency values, entering the currency yields venture is considered dangerous due to market uncertainty. Analysts and funds managers cited that many countries in Southeast Asia have yet to fully acknowledge their internal structural problems in their economies.

Currency and stock markets are climbing out of a funk
Article Abstract:
The 12% rise of Japan's stock market may not provide enough leverage for the country to acquire long-term economic development. Economic analysts argue that despite the increase in stock prices, Japan's financial markets would remain vulnerable to macroeconomic difficulties. These problems can only be addressed by reducing tax charges and extending adequate financial support to banking institutions. The Japanese government must also be able to reduce its public works spending in order to reduce trade deficits.
