Bruno Megret, France's far-right schemer
Article Abstract:
It is time to reject anti-Semitism, racism and fascism, according to Bruno Megret, elected leader of a breakaway element of France's National Front. However, he does feel that French civilization is superior to any other and that it should therefore be protected from mass immigration. He wishes to prevent foreigners settling in France, and also wants to send home the 3 million foreigners already in France. He regards himself as a French patriot who wants France to guard its cultural and ethnic identity.
