IGL is a 100 percent subsidiary of IMRglobal Corp of US. The new approach will help the company undertake rapid application development work. It is developing applications in the fields of finance, manufacturing and healthcare. This approach is said to be company's first step towards the launch of component based quasi products in India. AIRBUS TO SOURCE UP TO 20% TRAINING SOFTWARE FROM INDIA

Airbus Industrie, the European multinational Consortium, plans to obtain 20 percent of its worldwide requirement of training software from India. The consortium is currently holding talks with a few Indian software companies for the purpose. The tie-up will be finalised in early 1999. At present, Airbus Industrie is sourcing its CAD/CAM software requirements from India. (uh)
