FRANCE: COVI EXTENDS ITS PAUL ET LOUISE LINE

Covi has extended its Paul et Louise canned ready meals with six new ethnic dishes including a Creole-style chicken colombo with three types of rice, Indian-style chicken curry with basmati rice and a mutton tajine, and keftas with apricots and raisins. The recommended retail price is FFr 24 to FFr 28 for a 700-gram unit.

FRANCE: GENDREAU LAUNCHES CUISINE OCEANE

Gendreau has launched Cuisine Oceane, a line of canned ready meals. This line consists of four fish dishes: salmon trout with sorrel, Amorican-style Alaskan hake, Nantes-style fish, and Tuna Bourguigon. These ready meals come packaged in a tray with a fork included. The dish has a 12-month shelf life and a recommended retail price of FFr 13.50.
