Trinity Mirror won't rule out sale, CEO says

Trinity Mirror PLC's chief executive, Sly Bailey, said he would not rule out a sale of the newspaper publisher. Bailey said however, that Trinity has not seen any new offers since a joint bid was made in 2002.

Fairchild Dornier, ATR are said to be in talks over jet venture

Fairchild Dornier and Avions de Transport Regional are in said to be talks to build a 70-seat regional jetliner. Construcciones Aeronauticas of Spain is also said to be involved in the talks. Fairchild Dornier already has a 70-set jet, the 728, and ATR is thought to have been interested in Fairchild's 5-abreast seating configuration.
