Key Media will relaunch the Toronto Life Fashion publication as Fashion on Aug 16, 2000, under the direction of new editor-in-chief Leanne Delap. The Fashion has a Canadian emphasis, with 25% local content along with the international news in the Vancouver and Toronto editions. Its new feature would have more in-depth articles and more local advertising as well as a cleaner and more readerly feel. The launch of Fashion would be accompanied by a who's who parties in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.

Young Canadians get Fresh

Toronto publishing firm Fresh Management Inc will launch on Oct 30, 2000 a 100-page national lifestyle and entertainment magazine targetted at young Canadian adults. The new publication, called Fresh Magazine, will be published 10 times and is aimed at men and women 18- to 34-years old. The first run will have 50,000 copies and priced at C$3.99. The magazine's advertisers include Chapters.ca, Bell Mobility and Columbia Sportswear.
